I am thrilled to invite you to the opening of the GOO , at the FUTURES Hub in Amsterdam.

In the aftermath of the rigged elections in Belarus in 2020 and the ongoing war in Ukraine, I found myself consumed by the news, particularly through the lens of pro-governmental media in Belarus and Russia. GOO (2023-2024) stands as my visceral response to the world of propaganda and its profound impact on private life.

‘Plastic Age’ at Breda Photo 2022

New and already existing works from Plastic Age (2018 - ) will be presented during Breda Photo 2022 at an outdoor exhibition at Backer and Rueb Park in Breda.  

The 10th edition of BredaPhoto Festival, titled ‘Theatre of Dreams’, showcases more than 60 photographers and artists from 28 different countries. These creators, both established names and young talents, can be seen throughout the city of Breda for seven weeks at 15 special indoor and outdoor locations. The theme Theatre of Dreams refers to the idea of hope and change and presents proposals for a new viewing of the world. The works in the festival range from interdisciplinary installations and video art to vintage prints from special archives and documentary photography, with which the curators hope to inspire visitors and make them think.

Swan Song will be presented as a part of  festival HYBRIDS: Forging New Realities as Counter-Narrative, which will take place at CentroCentro during PhotoEspaña 2022. 

For the main exhibition, HYBRIDS explores this year’s theme through the projects of eleven artists: Maija Savolainen, Hien Hoang, Emily Graham, Carlos Alba, Eva Kreuger, Marta Bogdanska, Valeria Cherchi, Io Sivertsen, Lena Dobrowolska & Teo Ormond-Skeaping and myself together with Ben Van den Berghe.
